How do I register to use the new Altec Connect?
To register, simply click on the "Login/Register" dropdown box, then click the "Register Now" link.
Who will be able to register for an account on the new Altec Connect?
Existing business accounts, new business accounts and new personal accounts.
What is the difference between Business and Personal registration?
Business users are individuals who are affiliated with a company that has previously purchased with Altec and wish to tie that account to their new Altec Connect login. Personal users are not affiliated with an existing Altec customer, and wish to check out as an individual not tied to a business account.
What type of information will a business customer need to register if they have an existing customer account?
Customers who have an existing customer account can quickly register by providing their Altec Account Number and two past invoices.
If you do not have that information, you can still register for an Altec Connect account by by selecting "Yes, but I do not have two invoice numbers from my account" and entering your business name.
What if I am a business user who does not have an existing account with Altec?
You should submit your business information, and Altec will create a business account and tie it to your Altec Connect registration.
What will happen after you submit your registration?
For personal users and business users, who enter their account number and two invoices, your registration will be immediately approved and you will receive an email to activate your account. All other users will receive a confirmation e-mail upon account approval that includes a link to click to activate their account.
What if I do not receive my registration confirmation e-mail?
You will need to call 1-877 GO ALTEC and press Option 1 to check registration status. Please allow up to 12 hours after registration for e-mails to arrive.
Do I have to register for an account to purchase items on the site?
No, if a you do not have an account, you will be able to make a purchase as a "guest" user.
